An eco-luxury lodge in front of Madre de Dios River, right next to Tambopata National Reserve. Reserva Amazonica is remote and pristine, located in an area known as the “Biodiversity Capital of Peru”,  awaits the opportunity to discover an incredible variety of species — birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, trees, among others. Reserva Amazonica has 35 wooden cabanas all fully equipped, cozy, and with beautiful views. Fitting two guests per room in king or twin size beds and spacious bathrooms, we are sure you’ll get a pleasant rest after a day of excursions. Some rooms have a private terrace, hammocks or a plunge pool that gives that extra charm!

Inspired by the tropical flavors of the Amazon region, meals and beverages at Reserva Amazónica are prepared with fresh local ingredients. Serving an international buffet breakfast; lunch and dinner are served à la carte. All meals include a variety of salads and fruits, as well as a selection of homemade breads. You can also find vegetarian options and a children’s menu, upon request. Meals are served in the dining room, where you can also enjoy complete bar service, including a complimentary Pisco Sour at the Cocktail Hour (drinks not included in room-rates).

Daily flights from Lima via Cusco to Puerto Maldonado, gateway city.

✓  From Puerto Maldonado Airport, check-in, then it’s a 10-minute transfer to the Jetty Port for a 45-minute boat transfer along the river to the Lodge.

Throughout the years at both Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel and Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, the team has introduced thousands of people to the natural wonders and the indigenous cultures of Peru.
